They were ghastly. Why don't the designers ever consider the person they are designing for. That one with the big flowers would give me nightmares.

I think she was a bit shocked or overawed with the whole change to the house.
The daughter said, ''OH Psycho'', when she saw the first bedroom with the large coloured flowers.

Can you imagine waking up with a hangover and having to face that.

I suppose they would edit it if they said it was crap.

SO, not their most popular makeover?!
I must admit, it did seem a little...off-the-wall. As if they hadn't considered that someone will have to look at it forever!
Sometimes it's OK to use plain colours, and classic design, and not 'contemporary' (read hideous) colour clashes and quickly-dated furniture.
SOmetimes I love what they do, and sometimes I don't. They just need to consider their audience at greater length I think.
What they did there might have suited 2 younger people house-sharing for example, or a student house, but not a mother-and-daughter pairing.
