coins to fit shopping trolleys

I recently read about these so whilst on a recent holday break, I say these for sale for �1.99 attached to a key ring, remembered the article and bought several for friends and family, only to find they certainly dont fit an Asda trolley, anyone know which trolleys they do fit ? or have I been conned yet again ?

You were conned if you paid �1.99 when you can get them in a lot of pound shops. To be honest I haven't tried mine in Asda trolleys but it seems to work OK in the ones in Aldi. Occasionally I do find the odd trolley that doesn't want to know, but for most part I'm happy with it.

Hey dee sa, the little trolley tokens are universal, I thought, and they usually sell for closer to �1, as brave says above.

I don't shop at Asda, but they fit in Morrison's trolleys (big and small) and I have never had a problem with them (I have a couple, one's a charity one, one's got my name on and was a pressie from my mum!).

I have only ever seen them for �1. I have a few now as I have bought some charity ones and the all seem to fit Morrisons, Iceland and Aldi. I havnt tried Asda.

they cost �1.99 because they are fitted into a holder on a small key ring with your name on it and you just attach it to your car keys for easy access. went to Tesco yesterday but coins were not needed, must do better.
