KM Links Game - February week 1 Results

Getting in early today, as the site seems a little temperamental - keeps sending me off for the toolkit - now that's a disaster waiting to happen !!!
But with a little time up my sleeve I can do a few 'special mentions' -
firstly to ladyalex - welcome to the KM links, it's lovely to have you on board and congrats for a very successful start on our sister game MM links and fingers crossed for a good start to this one, too.
To ChrisHewit and his lady, Shazza -we will miss you for the next couple of weeks, and trust that you will thoroughly enjoy catching up with your family again.
And finally to patchett who surfaced in Cyprus - I was wondering where you'd got to and glad to know you're enjoying the sun and the lifestyle - can you drink red wine from a goatskin yet ???
Well you all know the routine by now - some kind soul will post the matches from this morning's Herculis down the track and then I get to earn my keep by scoring the entries - I figure there'll either be a lot of points or, if Kate's doing a sneaky & obscure today, nothing much at all - we'll have to wait and see.

Good mornjng seekerz so nice to think that someone missed me,and I mean that-really.As to the wine drinking its still out of a glass, but hey -that's no problem.We finish our four week stay on Friday so thought I'd better get started
on the Feb game.It's been really hot most days except for a thunderstorm last Mon,rain and wind on Tues and finally SNOW on Wed.Don't know who was most surprised,us or the locals.Cheers for now,see you next Sat.

Wow - nearly got run over in the rush for bonus points going out, what a mad scramble !!!
First up was jan1956 with Twill Weave, then the fun began - DizzieLizzy came in with Beef wellington, then slaney with both Beef Wellington and Parma Violet, next was joto with Parma Violet and Twill Weave, then along came london-lassy also with Parma Violet and beef Wellington, followed by freebi2with Beef Wellington. Had to bring out the stopwatch for a few of those !!! but bonus points for all the
above.
Ok, then a bit of a lull, and Christiana came up with the last match of Cheek Piece and the last of the bonus points, plus two for good guesses.
On top of the 'good guesses' list was miss meg,
AllyLally & ladyalex [so definitely not beginners luck !!] each with three points, and with two points comes paulineward,Strix, JRB, Paul21455, twosearch, patchett, wickedtongue, Magyar, chriss, cpfcrosiel3, brizzer & eccles along with a further 20 who each scored one point.
