Piano Music Transfer

I have a Yamaha CLP-170 and I have been trying to transfer my saved songs onto my laptop.

I plugged in the usb cable to the piano and it appeared to be working. It downloaded, and then said for this to work, you computer needs to be restarted.

I restarted.
I now have the option to remove the hardware (which shows it is picking it up) but I don't know how to transfer any music as it has not come up with anything.

Do I need a Cd? Or a specific type of software?
