why does my bsb sky not work

Has anyone else ever come across this problem..
I live in a block of 6 apartments and have a communial sky dish. When the weather is hot and sunny we all lose the satelitte signals on most of the channels (decent ones anyway) As evening draws in you get the signal back.
Sky or the areial company seem to know why.. Help avid ABers! Cheers
