I am looking a new digital camera. My own is a Fuji Finepix S5500. It is only 4MP and I want to be able to enlarge my pics to poster size. Also I want macro, perhaps 10x optical zoom. Any advice would be great. Price?, I would prefer about 250. though I would go higher for the right camera. Am not really very technically minded. Also what does CCD HR mean in cameras.
Thanks Darcy

Hi

Have a look at the Panasonic range they have some very useful cameras.

Other than that one of the Canon not the SLR range, may be of some use.

Regards
you could try something like this

http://www.panasonic.co.uk/high-zoom/dmc-tz3eb -s/index.htm

I think Olympus also do a 10x zoom. (Only go for optical zoom, digital zoom isn't much use)
Stick with Fuji and go for the S9600 - it has 10.7 optical zoom (28 to 300mm) brilliant macro and goes up to 9.0 mega pixels - it's very similar to what you have now and will be easier to adapt to.
