Instructions for Starview boxes are hard to come by. Simply owning one (with the intention of using it to gain access to subscription TV services without paying for them) is punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment (Communications Act 2003, Part 2 , Chapter 1, Section 126), so the firms that supply them are keen to ensure that they can't be seen to be endorsing any type of criminal activity.
