80808 call

Can anyone help,i keep on getting a message about ringtones from number 80808, for some reason, and cant get rid of it ( about twice a week),

i wouldnt mind apart from the fact i get charged for each message received what appears to be �1.50 per msg.

ive tried texting back ' remove' etc etc etc

Ring your network supplier.

They will tell you how to cancel these calls.
Under ICSTIS rules, all reverse-billed text services are obliged to immediately cancel the service if you text 'STOP' to the originating number. (Alternatively, if you believe that you may be registered for more than one service, text 'STOP ALL').

If you still have problems, phone the company which is sending these texts, Text Media, on 0871 750 1030.

If problems persist, phone ICSTIS on 0800 500 212 (0800-1800, Monday to Friday) or use their online complaint form:
