Any tips on driving an automatic to save me petrol would help.Do i keep it in overdrive or not ?

using overdrive will increase your petrol use.just drive it normally

always select neutral when stopped, for instance at traffic lights

Look ahead at junctions and lights. Try to keep the car rolling, rather than coming to a halt and having to boot it to get moving again.
