on my samsung yp(don't know the number) press the large M button (whilst on the track you want to delete) and move down to settings. move down and select system, then delete file. press the M button again and then confirm if you want to delete it. hope this works for you

Don't bother. I've just done that and it doesn't mention deleting songs. I've just e-mailed Samsung the question so as soon as they give me the answer(!) I'll let you know.

Sorry, I was reading the answer about downloading the manual. Mine's a YP-Z5 and doesn't have a M button. If yours is the same and you know where the M button is then let me know!!
