I've got a freeview box and am struggling to get some channels due to poor signal. Ive got and aerial booster box but someone told me I could get a cheap digital aerial to plug into the booster as opposed to my main aerial from the roof. Has anyone done this and did it work??!!

An indoor aerial is unlikely to get as good a signal as your roof aerial. It is worthwhile making sure the co-axial cable connections to the aerial are tight, clean and dry. Fitting a high gain aerial (generally speaking the more elements the better 25-30 from screwfix) of the right type for your area is the most likely cure. Check with neighbours to see if they are getting good digital signals - you might be in an area where they are just too weak. Cheers, Andy

Hi Andy, thanks for that, all the connections are fine but we do live in a poor connection area, looks like the high gain!
