I've seen a Mobile Phone that I fancy. Unfortunately though, it's got Vodaphone written on it. I'd rather stick to T-Mobile, so even though it's a brand new phone, does that mean that it's locked to the Vodaphone network? Can't I just put my old sim card into the phone, and carry on as before?

90% of the time yes, it would also depend on whether or not the phone was originally a contract or pay as u go, if it was contract theres a chance it may have been a generic phone allowing any sim card. the best way to tell obviously would b to try it. If it is locked then u can pay the network or some dodgy guy to get the authorisaton code. Hope this helps.
