I've got to replace the water pump on this car (very slow leak) and wondered what type of job it is .I'm quite handy around cars and have changed pumps on varous cars, but think that this one might possibly involve taking the cam belt off etc ??.
Any help would be great .Thanks

I done the same job on a 2.0 omega recently, this too involved removal of the cambelt. ideally you should be equipped with a haynes manual - this will tell you of all the markings which need to be aligned to put it in top dead centre position before anything else. For extra protection, mark the belt and pulleys with chalk ensuring it goes back in the exact position (unless of course you are replacing the belt whilst at it which isnt a bad idea).
