humming sound after flushing toilet..

I get a low humming sound a few seconds after flushing my loo. It goes on for about 30 secs. Funnily enough it stops if I run cold water from my sink???

Is there a problem ??

More than likley the early warning signs of a tap or valve washer is on its way out somewhere in the plumbing system.
