please help me i cant put the battery on my pedal because the pedal wont open .the manual says to press down on the pedal while pressing down squeeze the hinges on the both sides of the pedal while squeezing the hinges then raise up the pedal revealing the battery part that part about raising up the pedal my pedal wont raise up it wont open i try a bunch of times but no budge this was my christmas gift and i can use it please help me why wont it open please help
