A short range secure way of communicating/transferring data between bluetooth enabled devices i.e. mobile phone to laptop to MP3 players to headsets wirelessly - a lifestyle choice. 'Productive' can stem to other reasons (not just technical) i.e. it creates jobs; it allows technology to continue developing; it is globally accepted; it doesn't require much power to operate; it's chipset is small and robust, and so could lead down many avenues for future technologies.

Just a few uses! :)
