Oust spray TV ads state that unlike other air fresheners they dont mask the odour but actually get rid of it. How does it do it and what does it do that other air fresheners dont? Or is it misinformation?

Advertising rules mean you cannot blatantly make such a claim if it isn't true. How it works I cannot say as I am not a bio chemist, but rest assured, if that's what they claim, that's what it does.

I suspect it relates to the fact that certain sprays contains the germ-fighting chemicals said to neutralize tough odors in the air caused by bacteria. Rather than just perfume.
