Just got this and have downloaded manual but still confused as I have never use a modern video camera before. Took some videos and came out ok but........

When I finish shooting a scene is there not a pause button as I seem to have to press the on/off button at top back of camera which seems awkward as I am holding it with the strap near the button. Is there no pause button on the screen?

When I came to download videos to my PC the manual was not clear - first I took the sd card out of the camera and put it into my PC which did not work so I used the little usb lead in the handle and with difficulty managed to download to my PC and store the videos in 'my docs'

They downloaded fine but.....there were five separate scenes (as I switched camera off five times} and I do not know how to play them back one after the other to make a complete video!

Also how can I edit a video?  I am sure years ago when I had a larger video camera there was a pause button so when I downloaded there was a seamless video

Please advise in simple terms as I am elderly and thanks everyone

Just to let anyone who might answer I have found how to do it!

I downloaded a video editing app which gave me the opportunity to merge each scene to make one video!

I now understand that the Sony Handycam models do not have a pause like some others which is a shame.
