If so, can you help me with adding a "My Waitrose Voucher" to my current order please? Yes I can add the item to my order but I don't get the discount offered in the voucher. I managed to do it last time after an hour and a half messing about but even with neighbour helping today still not managed to do it. Why can't they make it simple?

Is it just me?

From the Waitrose website:
"Go to your myWaitrose hub and select the Vouchers tab. Then choose the voucher you wish to use. At checkout, be sure to select ‘apply voucher’ and the value will of be deducted from your order."

Also:
"If you see any errors in adding a voucher to your order, please check your delivery date to ensure it corresponds with the voucher’s expiry date. The date specified on your chosen voucher should be on or before your delivery date. You will be required to book a Delivery or Click & Collect slot before applying your voucher".

Thank you so much Chris. I have done all that and it hasn't worked. It tells me when I get to checkout there is no voucher when there is. The voucher doesn't finish until after 7th Sept which is the day my order is due.
My neighbour came in and tried again this evening but couldn't do it and he's a very clued up guy computer wise. So what we've done is put the item on the list and when I get the delivery note I will check to see if I have paid the discounted price. If I haven't I shall be on the phone to them to sort it out. Gosh it's hard work for £1.50!

I'll let you know what happens Chris.
Thanks for your reply.

Done that a couple of days ago Chris. It's unbelievable. I've phoned Waitrose twice and neither of the operatives could tell me how to do it. The last one got someone else on the phone who put the item in my basket. Great but not what I wanted. I need to know how to do it myself as I don't want to go through this every week, I've wasted hours on it. More fool me!
Mrs sqad uses Waitrose on line and her advice is "forget the voucher".......not worth the hastle.

She says all online voucher systems are the same.....impossible.
Sainsburys always works.

Oh Thank You sqad and Mrs sqad. Not just me then. I shall take that advice fin the future.
It gets worse. Chap on the phone told me they had put the item in the basket for me. They haven't it's not there. It's not even for me but for my neighbour!
I gave up with Morrisons system! Wasn't worth wearing my brain out for!
Today Morrisons have charged me 44p for two best Scottish sirloin steaks!! After confusing me yesterday with my herrings!!
