Someone has sent money by Western Union .

We have got a ref number .

We are told to collect it , bringing passport .

But , where do you go to collect it and how is the money paid over .

Are there Western Union branches ?

Apparently so. I just looked on their website and there is one in my local shopping centre.

My nearest WU is in a Ryman stationers' store in my nearest shopping centre.
Also in a local branch of the Co-Op supermarket, a travel agency, a pawnbrokers, a vape shop and an African foodstore. Who knew there so many WU agencies so close?

Collecting the cash seems to be straightforward
