How do they work? I have only ever had plug in ones and don't understand how I will be able to listen to the cd player or the Bose system with wireless headphones.

Made up for you Tills. You have to post a picture, Christmas Eve, of it lit. I am more pleased than you know. :))

What make is the cd player Tills? Not the Bose. I always feel that the same brands are a better match........at least aesthetically anyway.

What photo hosting site have you recommended in the past, please, Togo. Tiny pics is a pain.

I can post a pic of it unlit, as it has no fuel in it at the moment.

TEAC CD player and Yamaha amp, Togo
You can buy adapters for speaker output to headphone socket. I know for I have one. Not that I use the HiFi much these days.
Question Author
Would the headphones then be wireless, OG?
The Bose hasn't got a headphone socket.
Question Author
No it hasn't, HC.
Rather than headphones with a base-station, I'd go for (have gone for actually) the Sony wireless Bluetooth headphones and a small Bluetooth transmitter (which you plug into any outlet...speaker or headphone socket). Something like this...

Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation
No, but you'd then have a socket to plug the wireless transmitter into. Didn't you say the Bose didn't have one ?
Question Author
Thank you for that suggestion, Ginge. I have a lot to think about before actually buying them.

I might just get him a nice pair of cufflinks. :-)
Question Author
I'm getting a bit confused now. :-(
Yes, a tad confusing....the nice thing about that little Bluetooth transmitter is that you can plug it into most things (CD player, TV, old amplifier, radio etc) and they then transmit a Bluetooth signal...so you can use your wireless Bluetooth headphones with all of them.

Thank you. That makes sense to me.
Thumbsnap Tills no hassle very similar to tinypic without the loading problems and security bot checker that is half asleep. Just remember when you have loaded a picture( the easiest way is if you have it saved in your picture file with say file explorer) by choosing family safe, browse, right click picture and select, upload picture, then click more link codes and copy and paste the bottom one Direct Link into the AB answer box.

Tills I posted you a Bluetooth product link earlier if you have a look through your replies, and pointed out that you would need Bluetooth speakers to go with it which would be nice if the Bose Bluetrooth enabled as well. Sorry for delay, aveyn me tea. :))

Tilly Yamaha Bluetooth headphones are very pricy they call them Pro Series and are about £300.....ver ver nice though. I posted a link earlier for good Bluetooth phones and a Bluetooth base I will repeat them.

Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation
That is it Tills working. My it shines. :))
Question Author
Thanks for the recommendation again, Togo. That is probably the way to go.

I could never get it that shiny. :-( They have done a brilliant job. Now need to get the fuel when I've emailed them to ask what I need.)
