I realise this is old and of course totally out of season but I wanted to share as it tickled me.

Wonder if anyone took it seriously?

Would it have made for a good thread on AB if it had been around back then?

That's right, just tiny mints but marketed as the holes from Polo.

I remember that for a while you could actually buy the bits that were removed to form the hole.

Strange you say that as that's how the conversation that led me to this started.

They weren't the bits punched out (because they aren't made like that) just tiny mints.

Clever marketing eh?

Aye, that was back in the nineties too.

Ta for replies JD.
Ah but did anyone check to see if they fitted the Polo hole I wonder.

//Holes: These were a plastic tube of small mints approximately, but not exactly, the size of the hole in a standard polo mint.//

Mmmmm, yep 1mm to small.

Never came across the Polo Gummies either, they'd be good for stretching so you could get your tongue in.
Neither did I, Mamya. I used to like fruit polo's.
Question Author
Yes they were great too.
