If its what I think it is, I think that they potentially very dangerous. My friends had one fitted in the kitchen and their young son almost gave himself 1st degree burns !

Anyway, how many cups of tea you drink every day !
We had one in the kitchen in my last job. It was very dangerous as many of the staff, including me went to wash our hands, forgetting and managed to scald ourselves.
Personally, I can't see the point in them. An electric kettle does the same job and nobody would mistake a kettle as a place to wash hands...Sharon is right.
It's well known that hot drinks are best made with freshly-drawn, freshly-boiled water....which is just what a Quooker DOESN'T provide!
Quooker ... a must have for morons!
I have one and I love it. It was expensive, but in the grand scheme of our extension it was peanuts. Our builder thought it was ridiculous but after fitting it and using it he went out and bought one for himself.

Eccles has had on for ages, I'm sure she'll be along later to tell you what she thinks.
Just to add, it's neigh on impossible to burn yourself with it as you can't forget that it's boiling hot. The knob has to be pushed down like a tablet lid. you'd be in just as much danger from a kettle if you didn't realise it had boiling water.
I'm apparently a moron and wouldn't be without mine.

I was highly sceptical to it before installation.
Doh! nigh not neigh, no horses are involved.
I've been a moron for ages, getting the Quooker was just reinforcement ;)
lol ... reel em in ;0)

Apparently you can not accidentally scold yourself.

I have the Franke hot tap and out of everything in my lovely new kitchen I would say the hot tap rates as one of our best purchases. As Ecclescake says you cannot just turn it on without realising, you have to hold in the safety button to get it to come on. There is no more danger of scalding yourself than if you are filling a cup from the kettle direct.
I use it for everything from cups of tea, coffee etc to hot water for vegetables to adding extra water for washing up.
I love mine and would not want to be without it.

Ah, I see Rocky has already covered that one!
Wouldn't be allowed in an industrial premises without extra safety features.
You need to be a special shade of stupid to scald yourself whilst using a quooker.
So you can't put your hand in the stream of boiling water accidentally? yet you can fill a cup. How does that work?
that is rot Jomifl.

Many a work place has free flow hot/boiling water tanks for hot drinks which have less safety features than a Quooker.
We have similar at work and it's easy to scald yourself. They are very convenient but I don't think the tea tastes as good!
I think one'd be useful but I can't justify the cost.
^^^prudie...it doesn't because the water is stale!
Have you actually used a Quooker Jomifl?
