Any ABrs know if there's a minimum water pressure for the boiler to fire up & heat the water eg., 1bar? Or is that dependant on the type of boiler?

It's a Vokera we have & were advised to keep pressure between 1-2bar. I know of someone who was told the boiler would still work at 0.3 bar!

1 - 1½ bar is fine, otherwise you're running the whole system at high pressure
no its got to be above 1 bar see the manual if you have one
btw once its set at 1.5 it should not moved from that unless theres a problem with it
Normally if the gauge pressure falls below 1 bar (15psi) the pilot light goes out. It is a safety feature. You need to open the valve to get the pressure above 1 bar to relight the pilot light.
