I recently tupe'd from one company to another, the new company have told me that they won't be issuing me with a new contract and I'm to use my contract from the old company for t&c's etc.
Is this normal practice?
If I haven't signed a contract with the new company am I contracted to work for them?
Have the new company told you about continuing to use the old contract in writing? If they have and the letter/email is from someone "who should know" ie someone senior, then keep a copy of this letter with your existing contract and all your TUPE info.
I think TUPE means that you transfer across on the same Ts and cs. If you've had a letter confirming it's a TUPE transfer that should confirm that your Ts and Cs are unchanged
You'll be getting a letter if you haven't already. By the way, as I've found in the past - it doesn't mean you get the same T&Cs forever. The new employer is quite entitled to change everyone's T&Cs after a period of time.
