Although the rescue was technically closed the Anne Webb Sanctuary was and always will be running. We had a few issues with one person in particular who felt the need to keep reporting us to the RSPCA.
We've had the RSPCA round 3 times now, unannounced, to check the premisses and each time they just stand in shock at how well we treat our dogs. They expect to see them locked in cages, swimming around in their own urine and faeces. This one woman is apparently known for doing this sort of thing without other local rescues/kennels which is why she commuted all the way from Warwickshire to defecate on our front door step.
Another reason also was because me step dad was diagnosed with leukaemia and having the stress of even more dogs coming and going wasn't fair on him.
However, now we're back into it and although we don't have any room left to take on more pooches we will help re-home for people who can no longer look after their dog.
Thanks again Wolf for your donation, we wouldn't be here without donations such as yours :)
