Does anyone know where I can get some information on how to build a coin pusher (the one's you see at the seaside with the 2p's). I am mainly looking at the motor side of things. I need a motor that will turn one way for 2 secs and then the other way for 2 secs, so it moves back and forth. Any help would be much appreciated on this subject. Thanks

You don't need a special motor, just a motor with a cam and lever. In other words a disc of metal rotates on the end of the motor shaft. On the outer edge of the disc is a pin that has a hinged arm on it. As the disc revlves it will push the arm back & forth. Like the con rod on the wheels of a steam locomotive. A windscreen wiper motor will do it, if you get a transformer that can handle the necessary power requirements.
8LineSupply.com offers a wide selection of coin pusher parts and supplies to shop from. Everything you need to build a coin pusher is there, including a small shaft motor for a coin pusher. The "Small Shaft Motor for Coin Pusher" is engineered to continuously move the play field in a coin pusher machine. http://www.8linesuppl...-for-coin-pusher.html
