Hi I'm new on here so wasn't really sure where to ask this ,, what I want to ask is when you deactivate your facebook account do you stay on someone's friends list numerically? The reason I'm asking is I was looking through my bf friends list and noticed someone was there who wasn't there before.. He still had the same number of friends on his list. Naturally I checked them out (yes it was a girl) and she was added sometime ago. I didn't ask him about her but later when I checked again she had gone but the number of friends in his list hadn't been reduced.. I know I might have been blocked by her but I looked again from a work colleagues account and she still wasn't there.. She couldn't have blocked my colleague because they don't know each other.. What's happening ?

Yes, when you deactivate your account you're not removed from the Facebook system. There's a system glitch - you're not even removed if you delete your account. The glitch affects the friends count by showing an incorrect number of friends ; you can see this by counting the number of friends photos.
