Hello

Does anyone know how you would design a MOD 21 binary counter using j-k flip flops and how many flip flops would be required? Any advice/help would be appreciated.

You need 5 flip-flops, which would be capable of counting to 32 (but you only need it to count as far as 21).

Then follow the same principles as was asked in this question (which asked to count only as far as 10). http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20081118220044AAONnU6

I take it you know how to gang together J-K flip-flops in a sequence?
