Intermittent Sound When Playing Video On Phone.

I've got a Samsung Galaxy Ace phone running Android. When I try to play an AVI video using MX Player the sound cuts in and out. The built in video player does not support AVI files.

I noticed one other time that a video I'd recorded using the phone did the same thing on MX Player but worked okay using the built in video player, so maybe it's a fault with MX Player.

Had anyone else found this sort of problem and did a different video player work?
