Sometime on Saturday, the BBC channels on our Freeview box have disappeared. I've twice re-tuned the box but it doesn't 'find' these channels at all. Also, some of the radio stations have gone too, but I'm not all that fussed about those. I live in Glasgow. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Panda - I was hoping it was the weather as it was quite windy here, but its not anymore and the signal is not back yet. I think I'll hang fire on buying the booster to see if it returns.
Hi, you could also check the leads to the box and tv. This happened to me a while ago and found out the leads had come out very slightly. Worth a try.

Thanks Shedman, I'll just go and do that right now.
As theshedman says, check all your Scart lead connections etc first and then do a Full Scan from scratch
Question Author
nope - still no BBC!
Best find yourself a Booster before tomorrow and then do a Full Scan again

Why would it just all of a sudden decide it had no signal for those channels though when they have always been there?

See my post here for an explanation (and then buy a signal booster or a better aerial):
