Can anyone give me a professional opinion (not a guess please) I have just bought a new Whirlpool microwave and noticed that steam was appearing between the inner and outer panes of glass in the door. I rang Whirlpool and they told me to ring their agents who deal with repair and replacement. When I rang the repairers they said they do not consider that to be a fault and that some microwaves are more prone to this than others and if they bring it in for repair and decide it is not a fault I will be charged!!. My worry is if steam is going between the inner and outer panes then bacteria will appear as I cannot clean this area. Also if steam can escape then maybe microwaves can as well ? Can anyone enlighten me please
