He was superb in Pierrpoint.Obviously a film about the hangman....well worth a watch.

I admire him hugely too and will watch anything with him involved.

Did you all watch him circumnavigate the British Isles with his wife? Such a gentle watchable programme where the pair of them took off on a boat for a year or two to celebrate his life and his own fight against illness.

Just watched it on Sky plus and what an amazing performance he gave.

Brilliant actor and you could relate to the character.
Bit where he asked if the Hotel room had a toilet.
