Living flame gas fire cutting out on low setting

Can anyone suggest why my gas fire (baxi living flame) has started to cut out on its low setting (it only really has a high and a low)?
There does not appear to be any gas coming out when it's off ...I think....and it was serviced in November.

Thanks Bill - thing is, it's worked fine until we went away last week - then when we came back it has started cutting out when on low.
