I had one put in under Anesthetic around 7 years ago
( i think its a mirena btw) due to very heavy periods
My doctor tried to take it out yesterday and i had to stop her as i was in agony , i felt my womb was being pulled out ! today i have " cramps " and feel very heavy around my vagina
My doctor said shel refer me to hospital
Can i hope theyl take it out under Anesthetic


If i still feel like this tomorrow il phone my doctors -
any advice for me ? x

have you taken any painkillers?
Had that problem having a copper 7 out many years ago, it had moved and was caught in my cervix. Dr persevered and got it out but was agony. So yes if it persists ask her to get you in as emergency.

A friend of mine had a very similar problem, and had to have the coil removed at the hospital, where they managed without too many problems
