Why do people do this? Just watching CDWM and someone has got a little dog and put it in a dress. Just don't get it.

And she keeps picking the poor thing up and squishing it.
Urgh, a woman at my work bought her mum a maltese terrier (mainly for herself). She takes it out for mum everyday, in her oversized handbag and wearing different outfits. Talk about attention seeking!!!! She also bathes it every day to keep it all sparkly white - no matter how many times she's told it's not good for the dog. Numpty.
well sher, I think that some dog owners treat their dogs as children!........sad!.........
I used to have a pug, who I do admit to dressing up.
However, I would like to point out that I did this for his benefit only. I never did it for the novelty factor, or because I thought it looked cute.
He had a little jumper which I put on him when it was winter and I took him for a coat. He also had some little welly boots, which I put on to stop his feet getting sandy and wet, when I took him on the beach.

Just googles dog clothes - http://www.urbanpup.c...5XEoKwCFQkLfAodgSFjhw . Wish I had thought of this!
Sorry, I meant took him for a walk. He did have a coat, but I wasn't going to mention that.... :P
I have a Cocker Spaniel Puppy, and she will never ever wear a dress, coat or wellies!.........she's a dog!..........they don't need clothing, they have all they need built in!.........
Absolutely and utterly ridiculous I agree. I can get my head around dog goat thingies when it's very cold for those that would actually suffer without them but anything other than that is nothing to do with the dog and completely about the owner. I thought I was bad enough getting the cat a green reflective collar as I thought green would look better than yellow!
dog goat?? Dog coat even!
Dog goats? What are they?? :))
Lol.
Welshi, my little pug used to shiver whenever I took him out. That's not normal, surely. I felt awful for him.

But dressing dogs as other animals might be funny! I like the thought of a dog goat.
Belonging to a small dog rescue group, should prefer to see silly fold dressing up their pooches rather than some of the really nasty things some ******* do to 'em.
fold read folk pse.

Lol Sher, that's what I was thinking! A dog goat/goat dog... Haha.

Seadog, how anyone can be cruel to a poor, defenseless animal is beyond me :(
