strange that i can see that someone answered a question i asked, which was removed, but it still shows who it was, as it was the last answer, not sure that makes sense, perhaps we could have a bank where the removed answers go.

to the great 'removed answerbank' in the sky !!! don't give them anymore ideas, em !!
I wrap them in pastry, bake them at 200 for 10 mins and eat them
does it give you indigestion, fluff ??
Question Author
just wondered, eat them, good idea, what if they are rude, give you indigestion.
Some of the more sleazy ones i do have to sneak to the cat i must admit
Question Author
seekeerz, great minds, or something...
I know when I worked for an on line forum site, we had the option of hiding for a second opinion or removing all together

If the reply was removed no one posting on the forum would know it had been removed unless they had read it before the removal, the same with a hidden post.
At a guess, removed posts are deleted into cyber space - where ever that may be
Question Author
PK, understand, but it still shows on my questions who it was, as it was the last answer, wonder what was so bad it had to be removed. Never mind, i just wondered..
strange indeed

who was it then?? leaving me in suspenders like that lol
Question Author
thought you could all see, not telling, that would be unladylike
The answer itself might not be a bad/rude/offensive one, but the user is a known all of the above member who's trying to tunnel their way back onto the site.
perhaps i should say possibly- know idea what the reply said or who the user was.

the person is well known on AB, one of the regulars, as it was a late post, perhaps they were having a bad night.
ah, Haven't seen it myself then

To answer your q about shower caddies, I have one that doesn't need screws to fix it to the wall. It's on a telescopic pole that you screw to tighten into place. Bit like a shower pole?
It was from Next so not too expensive. It goes from bath to ceiling and it's been in place for around 4 years now. No rust, no wear and tear and quite a lot of space for shampoo, cond, etc. Only thing it has trouble holding is the soap but thats cured by using shower gel instead ;-)

PK, thanks for the advice, will have a look around, not sure what's best as yet.
I stockpile them. We then send out one of the severants in the dead of winter to chop them into individual letters. These letters are then selected for quality, the best ones go to Scrabble, the crap ones gets made into alphabet spaghetti.
LOL Ed!.... but I don't know what em means, I've just looked at a thread with a removed answer, all it says is "answer removed" - no ID of the person who posted it.
"Severants" was typo, yet it is what I will call them from now on. It's fairly descriptive.
Em10. Just to stop you wondering. It was me that had my answer removed. I simply put an answer in the wrong section and asked the Ed. to remove it. I also asked for people to report it.

There was nothing rude about it whatsoever!!

It just looked totally silly in a section about the Post Office!!!
That explains that, then - thanks, Lottie!
