Can anybody recommend a good ioniser or purifier. I'm thinking of trying one out due to dust allergy problems but not sure which would be best ( or are they the same thing? ).I have read good and bad things about them so it would be good to get opinions from people that use one. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

I suffer from the same i had jml fresh air globe...id like to buy that again....also lloyds pharmacy usually sell something like this xx
For many years I had a combined ioniser & filter made by Mountain Breeze which I thought was excellent. It eventually died and I have replaced it by similar machine by Bionaire. This has a higher quality HEPA filter and is also performing well. You need to get something that matches the size of room that it will be used in.
I've got a Sharp Air purifier, had it for 5 years now, just replaced the HEPA and Carbon filters for the first time. It was expensive but worth it.
