In chemistry, someone asked me what phone I had and i said cookie, meaning an LG and they were amazed, then disapointed when i said, lg cookie then said how amazing it would be for cookie shaped phones. Chocolate chips/ smarties could be the buttons and you could have sliding ones made in the shape of oreos etc. Not as useful as your ideas though.

You can open your door with a key fob if you really want, Most house alarms have a key fob to arm/disarm them these days and they also can switch something external, like a door electronic door lock, easily enough.

It may be boring, but I can't believe that we are still relying on burning stuff we dig up for most of our energy, I would have thought something better would have been invented by now. (conspiracy theorists, yes I realise there is a good chance it has been)
