When cleaning instructions for certain fabrics such as - waterproof, upholstery, vertical blinds - state sponge only what cleaning fluid should be used with the sponge?

I'd use dish washing liquid soap.

LUX FLAKES is for hand washing and is forvery delicate items.

Either washing-up liquid, or a very gentle soapy cleanser e.g. Amway LOC.
