I have a bit of 2 left feet when it comes to decorating etc. Although I am good at DIY. I am looking at selling my house. I have good taste when it comes to bath rooms and kitchens but I am stuck with a theme for the rest of the house. All the flooring in every room and all the walls need doing. What is a good colour to do the walls in and what type of flooring would be good? Obviously has to be cheapish.

You should paint the walls a neutral colour (beige / magnolia) and the woodwork white. This allows the potential buyers to imagine their own decor and makes the rooms look slightly larger.
Just want to confirm what the Count has said. Whenever I sell a renovated or a new house, it's always Magnolia. It's a classic mistake to "impose" your (personal) taste on buyers.
Good luck with it.
Not an expert on carpet/wood flooring but I'd go for neutral shades again, (single colour, no busy patterns) and if you have the same stuff throughout, it can give the impression of greater space.
