Try boiling up a high concentrate of biological washing powder and water,most burnt on food comes off this way,their again we are talking about burnt on sugar

Try a dish washer tablet, works great! Just put in hot water and dissolve in pan!

Neat bleach -works eveytime I burn a pan... I leave it on for a few daysit gradually gets eveything off
