Hi All,

Last weekend I made my first ever attempt at plastering (a Chimney Breast). I was fairly pleased at the results, but I am sure I can do better.

I have looked at a few online videos and they all recommend doing a second coat. I would now like to do a second coat, but as the first coat is a week old and fully dry, do I need to put some sort of bonding agent on before I add the second coat, or can I just go ahead and put the second coat straight over the first coat?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
