bed sliding on wooden floor

we have hardwood floors. we have a bed with casters/wheels. the two don't go together :-) the bed is sliding all over the room...without us doing anything wilder than sitting on it haha. Any simple diy tricks that you can suggest?

Can you still get those old-fashioned cup things that castors used to sit in under sofas etc?
Either the cups or pieces of carpet put underneath the castors.

i'd never heard of caster cups...but will ask the hub to visit a hardware store tomorrow.
carpets worth a try too...

yup we could take the wheels off but i'd like the wheels to stay as it means easier moving to dust under the bed
In that case cups are the best bet. B&Q etc usually stock them.
