Problem with electrics

Hi, recently whilst using my fan oven and tumble dryer something caused the electric to trip. I put the trip switch back up and now the fan in the oven works and the tumble dryer works but neither of them get hot. They were plugged into different plug sockets at opposite ends of kitchen. I have since plugged into the plug that the cooker was plugged in, a deep fat fryer and microwave and they both work. But when I tried a brand new toaster, as soon as I push the toaster down it makes the electric trip again. Any ideas on what the problem might be? Thanks

Check your circuit breaker panel again to see if yet another breaker popped when the first failure occurred. It sounds like the fans on both units run on a different voltage than the heating elements and are, therefore protected by different cb's. Additionally, though the service plugins are located a ways away from each other, they're obviously on the same circuit(s)...
I am somewhat mystified that you are able to plug your electric cooker into another socket. Cookers are normally on a seperaste circuit to all other appliances.

I am thinking that you need to call-in a professonal Electician on this one.
