My daughter has taken up an old carpet left by previous tenant and found that all around the edge of the room, the foam back has stuck to the vinyl tiles. We have used a plastic scraper and it is coming off but very hard work. Does anyone have any tips on what to use? Thought we might try scrubbing with hot soapy water or possibly give white spirit a go, but would be interested to hear ideas from anyone. Thank you

Evo stick cleaner from DIY stores. Otherwise known as xylene if you can get hold of it.
