Is GMAC The Most Honest Mortgage Provider?

We had a mortgage with GMAC in 2003 until 2007. Since then we have received 2 cheques from them as fees and charges levied by them and paid by us, had exceeded the actual cost to them.

These cheques add up to approx £200.00 and were a very pleasant surprise. Are GMAC alone in owning up to excess charges ?

Not at all, had bad times with them just trying to get loan! Long time, alot of messing around!
