reattach dishwasher spray nozzle

i've a whirlpool dishwasher model ADG 7550. i took off the upper arm / upper spray nozzel thingeymajig. I can't reattach it despite all the part apparently being there (checked on the whirlpool website). Any help advice apprecaited...loads...or else I will have to call an engineer out (bkd one for tomorrow at a charge)
