My climbing plants and Canas have suffered a couple of days of frost and are currently exhibiting brown, dry (dead looking) leaves, will they come back or are they goners?

Cannas are not frost hardy, you need to dig them up, store them in dryish compost or wrap in newspaper in a frost free shed , greenhouse etc.You haven't said what your climbing plants are so its a case of wait and see with them!!
Hi Pam,
Scroll down at this site for storage info for your cannas. Let us know what your vines are.
