Hi

Can anybody advise me on what potted plants would attract bees and butterflies to a patio?

Thank you.

you wont bees and buterflys in your patio, than get 3 or 4
LAVENDER PLANTS,that will do the job
best of luck colliton
forgot to add that the other thing that will attract them is water. Clean water in shallow dishes with stones in so thsat the water only just covers the stone will get the bees and butterflies there to drink, its fascinating to watch them. The dishes don't have to be big, change the water often, use rainwater if you have it

Thank you all for your help (the water is a very interesting one! :-))
Thompson and Morgan have just bought out a patio buddleja that can be grown in large patio pots and smaller gardens. Its described as a new twist on the much-loved traditional favourite garden shrub, hence the spelling of it.
Very attractive, compact plants that are loved by bees and butterflies.

I'llcertainly check that one out. Thank you.
I read earlier today that fuschias are loved by bees so they could be worth trying.
